Thanks for your interest in my art!

I’m a self-taught, Canadian artist based in Oxford County, Ontario. My biggest inspirations are nature and the imagination; I love to capture these in surrealism and bold colors, primarily using acrylics. Although I don’t have an educational background in art, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to practice & building techniques - and I have to give kudos to the many artists I’ve learned from over the years.

Incoming predictable artist stereotype: I always struggled feeling like my mind, my ideas and my interests didn’t quite fit the mold in the world, and I battled a multitude of mental health challenges as a result. I won’t stress you out with that here, but long story short, art was one of the ways I found the confidence to own my place in the world. Art gave me a purpose and a way to celebrate that what seems strange & different can also be captivating & beautiful.

Aside from art, I always found freedom & comfort in nature, animals, reading and music. When I’m not creating. you can still find me spending time outdoors with my dog or checking out live music.

A big part of my work is creating custom commissions; however, I also host art workshops for private and community events. My future project aspirations would be to work on larger scale murals and album artwork.
